After temporarily changing my default storage for all backup jobs to disk because of problems with my LTO tape drive, I just tried manually running a test full backup from BAT and setting it to use the LTO4 drive and the relevant SD.
"OK," Bacula cheerfully said, "I can do that, no problem," and happily proceeded to run the backup to the *other* SD and store the job on disk. So, devices specified in schedules still *silently* override the device specified by the operator on the console. This really needs to be fixed. I can easily see it leading to scenarios in which you are relying on a backup that you don't know you don't have. -- Phil Stracchino Babylon Communications ph...@caerllewys.net p...@co.ordinate.org Landline: 603.293.8485 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ Bacula-devel mailing list Bacula-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-devel
