Hello Heitor,

Inserting new schedules into the Director will not help since the connection and the job itself is initiated by the Client, and in general in this configuration, the Director has no access to the client; only the client has access to the Director.   Thus the schedule needs to go in the Client program, and that is new development.

Best regards,

Kern

Hello,

Hello, Radoslaw,

There is a new feature in Bacula 9.0.x: Client Initiated Backup. It is great, but I cannot find information how to schedule a Client Initiated Backup in Bacula internally (other then using external tools, which is extremely ugly). Could someone point me to the correct location?

I think it is the only way, since only Director contains a scheduler.
I'm thinking of using Baculum new API to insert new schedules into the Director.
If you have a nice guide for tray monitor configuration I would love it. Last time I tried I gave up. Too many inner connections to set up.

best regards

Regards,
