Hello Phil,
Davide (from Bacula Systems) is working on providing more binaries. He
is a very busy person, and creating the rpms and the resulting binaries
the first time is a lot of work as they are significantly different from
the Bacula Systems ones that he maintains. I am sure that Davide will
do RHEL7 (or CentOS7) in the near future if he has not already done it,
but I suspect that you may be on your own for Oracle, because I believe
that there are many open source distros that we should support that we
don't that will have a higher priority.
By the way, probably sometime this week or next week I will release a
9.2.2 minor bug fix to 9.2.1.
The next important release 9.4.0 is progressing nicely, and should be
ready sometime around the year end.
Best regards,
Kern

Gentoo's Bacula package finally updated, and I'm able to do systemwide
update at last. This includes my storage server which runs Solaris 11.
I did eventually get it to compile, but with many warnings. Is anyone
else here building Bacula on Solaris 11.3?
Also, could someone please remind me of what we're doing for RPM
packages for RHEL7/Oracle Enterprise Linux 7?
