Phillipe Chauvat has done an incredible amount of work on Latex2HTML in
order to produce a very nice HTML version of the manual. (We still need
to fix a couple of things, but you can see the difference on the
bacula.org website between 9.6 and 11.0).

Unfortunately, from what I understand, the latex2html project is not
very active and the program is difficult to maintain (it relies a lot on
the dark side of Perl...).

For the moment, we will keep Latex2HTML in the source tree because you
need it to build the manual correctly. The next step for the Bacula
documentation will be to switch from Latex to a more modern and common
documentation language, but it will probably take some time to convert
everything.
