Greetings!

Since I was wanting to recompile bacula, mainly to include
wx-monitor, which was not configured in my first configuration, I also
decided to get the latest release. (I also wanted the latest
documentation on burning a CD, which I need to do.) So, I downloaded
version 1.38.5 from the web this afternoon. (I was using 1.36.3, since
around September of last year.)

Here is my config.out, of my new attempt at configuration and make:

wx-console is still not present, even though I had
"--enable-wx-console" on the configure command line. I noticed this in
the output of the configure:

<<>>

     .
     .
checking where the gettext function comes from... libc
checking for msgfmt... (cached) /usr/bin/msgfmt
./configure: line 12837: wx-config: command not found

wx-config program not found. wx-console disabled.

Is wx-console something I should plan on configuring? If the
answer is yes or it can be, what do I need to do to get it? I saw a
"bacula-wxconsole_1.36.3-2_i386.deb" for the downloads, but I'm not sure
what I can do with a .deb file, and the version doesn't match, although I
don't know whether that matters, for a console.

     Thank you for your help!

     Barry
