Hello all,
I want to update bacula from 1.36 to 1.38 on a kubuntu dapper. Cause I want to
backup to DVD.

I tried the sources but can not configure:

"checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C
compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/bacula/bacula-1.38.11# less config.log"

hmm, but I can compile other software. So what is wrong? Or better,
what is the correct way to update bacula on kubuntu?

tia
