Sorry, I will make note to post to the list :) If I a mount first it comes up with: "Automatically selected Storage: QuantumLTO2 3905 Device "QuantumLTO2" (/dev/nst0) open but no Bacula volume is mounted. If this is not a blank tape, try unmounting and remounting the Volume." Then a umount then mount again " *umount Automatically selected Storage: QuantumLTO2 3002 Device "QuantumLTO2" (/dev/nst0) unmounted. *mount Automatically selected Storage: QuantumLTO2 3001 Mounted Volume: Wednesday 3001 Device "QuantumLTO2" (/dev/nst0) is mounted with Volume "Wednesday" " So it is picking up the tape Label fine.... NOTE: The tape has been changed for tonight's backup. And thus says Wednesday.
But if I did this before the job was canceled it wouldn't make a difference. Before canceling the job, do a 'sta sd' comand and check that output. Also, try mounting the tape without first unmounting it.
