Hello, I am considering a change to the configuration files for FreeBSD ports of Bacula.
At present, a default install gives you this in /usr/local/etc/bacula/ bacula-barcodes bacula-barcodes.sample bacula-dir.conf bacula-dir.conf.sample bacula-fd.conf bacula-fd.conf.sample bacula-sd.conf bacula-sd.conf.sample bconsole.conf bconsole.conf.sample I propose to change it so you get only .sample files. e.g. bacula-barcodes.sample bacula-dir.conf.sample bacula-fd.conf.sample bacula-sd.conf.sample bconsole.conf.sample The port installed the .conf files *if* they do not already exist. I think this was done to save the user a step. At deinstall time, the .conf files are not removed unless they have not been changed. I think we can live with the extra step. There is no time frame for this change. I'll do it within the next few months. Comments?
