Hello list,

I am using Bacula 5.2.6 on Debian 8 with mysql. The database dump is 82
GB (with --add-drop-database --add-drop-table --allow-keywords
--single-transaction).

I had checked the database for the remains of old clients and deleted
old entries with "purge jobid=xxxx".

My problem is that as far as possible (backups, database queries etc.).
But I can't recover anymore.

After selecting the client, the tapes used are still displayed, but
creating the file list does not come to an end.

The last select is a rather cryptic construct. A tmp-table is created,
but apparently not filled. A CPU runs on 100% but the process never ends.

What is it possible to check what goes wrong? How can a database of this
size (among other things, various mail servers with many small files are
backed up) be cleaned up in such a way that it can be used afterwards?

I have had similar experiences with dbcheck in the past.

With kind regards
Claudia Koch
