Hi Kern,
Issue with missing ACLs only apply to locally mounted directories (ext4
on LVM on hardware RAID).
I discovered the problem on restore of /var/lib/samba as it prevented
samba from starting.
There are numerous other local paths on the same client subject to the
same issue.
I shall find out in just a couple of hours if the config change
suggested by Martin has made any difference.
