SELinux is indeed in use and after temporary disabling it I could update the contents of the autoloader as it should. I had the feeling something was blocking is, but never thought about SELinux. SELinux did store the blocking in it's logs, but i never saw a warning popping up. For now I will update the SELinux policies, and then off we go.
