Unless I stick fingers into the database and update the mediatype for each 
volume  :D

That's great you found it.

The MediaType is also written in media records (in the catalog) and in
the volume label (volume header), so each of your existing volumes
still have the old "DiskVolume" media type. This change will work for
newly labeled volumes.
