I was not impressed in the first thirty seconds of this video, but as
time drew on and I realized what a huge contraption this was, I
became impressed. And jealous.
This is what is possible when people have a surplus of time and
space. From the early days of humanity when those were nearly all we
had, civilized people (like me, of course) have traded those
commodities for other comforts (mostly eating out in restaurants).
This video evokes the same sort of jealousy that one might have
towards the super rich: that is, jealousy that someone should have
such huge quantities of a resource that you do not. Time and space:
the new currency.
Oh right, and the video is fun to watch.
