This is great. Absolutely fabulous. It ties into the whole
"philosophy of being software" idea that I've been discussing and
developing in this thread:

First of all, could a subroutine fall in love with another
subroutine? Wouldn't that be sort of like my arm falling in love
with your leg? And the suggestion of sexual differences between
software is... intriguing as is the idea of software having a desire
to form some sort of "relationship" with other software. Of course
we could see this as already existing, Photoshop and Illustrator
live quite happily together but does it ever go deeper than simply
joining together to complete tasks more efficiently? Do two pieces
of software ever join together simply because they enjoy each other's company?
