I just read a very curious letter ending with
"Wisdoms for a new civilization now dawning In the Second Cycle of
the Tahirih Era (After 160 years a new cycle of the rebirth of
Tahirih has begun)
Ya-Sitareh’u-Tahirih - Starr* Saffa May 2004"
I searched the web looking for any information on a Tahirih Era and
found the following at http://www.geocities.com/solarguard/bahai/

"Tahirih Thealogy, Starr Saffa, 2004 C.E.
Chapter One: The author announces that she has received the mystic
summons to convey the story of Tahirih, embodiment for her time of
the divine thealogy, the balancing of the female in the spiritual
paradigm of this planet. There is a consideration of the term
thealogy as used by scholars and spiritual wayfarers and of the
current awareness of the previous void within largely masculine
conceptions (historically imposed by force) of the divine.
There is reference to esoteric teachings on the separation of humans
into two sexes and the qualities of each, as well as the entrance
into a more harmonious era for human individuals and the species as
a whole. This leads to a realization of the Bab and Tahirih as twin
Manifestations of Deity."
I wonder if any of you have heard of this peculiar perspective on The
Bab & Tahirih?
I've also been reading Karen Armstrong's "A History Of God" and am
just now realizing how ill-informed I am when it comes to Judaism,
Christianity and Islam. I would appreciate any comments those of you
who are familiar with this book, would share.
