Dear Elaina,
Yes, many of us remember Claudia/Star who we removed from this list some
time ago. She left the Faith a few years ago and later joined Nima Hazini in
saying that Baha'u'llah was a fraud and that Nima was really He Whom God
would Make Manifest. After Star published her book, Nima got a lot of
criticism from the Azalis with whom he had made common cause and he
therefore parted company with Star. Star's book is really a lot of New Age
nonsense with nothing to do with the historical Tahirih.
"I've also been reading Karen Armstrong's "A History Of God" and am
just now realizing how ill-informed I am when it comes to Judaism,
Christianity and Islam. I would appreciate any comments those of you
who are familiar with this book, would share."
Karen Armstrong is worth a read, unlike Star's book.
