The responsibility lies with both the believer and those who have ignored
the Faith. I saw and heard of the Faith several times over a period of
ofthirty-years before I had any idea what it could possibly be. Because of
the way we are taught, religion is static, not progressive. Also, we are
taught, if the "knowledgeable" don't know about it, it is probably not worth
knowing. Hence, we tend not to follow up investigation of strange looking
names such as "Baha'i". And, when we first hear "Baha'u'llah" or
"Manifestation" or "Progressive Revelation" we have no idea what you could
possibly be talking about. For some reason, the Baha'is I met before
embracing the Faith, knew nothing whatever about either the Gospel or the
Qur'an. They therefore could not relate the Faith to my belief.
My view of my experience is reinforced when I look at the format and
curriculum of the Ruhi Institute. Baha'is need to know a great deal more if
they expect to talk to peoples concerns.

At this point in time much of the world have not heard about the Baha'i
Faith. I am assuming more than half, though I could be wrong. Baha'is
could have done things differently with proclamation so that the vast
majority would have heard of the Faith already. I am interested to know why
we have done things like we have. If the Faith were more known it would
create opposition which would result in new believers.
