Dear David,
Memorizing the kind of trivia necessary to win a quiz tournament is
hardly the kind of knowledge Shoghi Effendi had in mind. You need to
study subjects *deeply* to be able to relate them to the Baha'i
Teachings. Baha'u'llah says we need to be anxiously concerned with the
age in which we live and its requirements. I think that is the whole
point of what the Guardian is saying.
