"throne"
would indicate to me the position, not the Person.
"campanion" comes from the latin for sharing bread.
were the disciples "partners" in the Station of Christ,
or the infallible Guardian may be alluding to this definrtion of companion:
"Companion - A term applied to a certain grade of members in some of the
knightly orders, as, a Companion of the Bath."
http://historymedren.about.com/od/pimbley/a/pim_c_3.htm
which would be consonant with "throne"
sAq comments on this partner thingy:
;"There is no partner for Him Who is the Dayspring of Revelation [1] in His
Most Great Infallibility.
(Abdu'l-Baha, Some Answered Questions, p. 170)"
imho no means no.
and ESW suggests:
Thou didst not take unto Thyself a partner in Thy dominion, nor didst Thou
choose a peer for Thyself upon earth.
(Baha'u'llah, Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 3)
nor any partner in all creation
(Baha'u'llah, Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 98)
as the One Who hath no equal, and in thy adoration of Him, and in thy refusal
to join partners with Him.
(Baha'u'llah, Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 112)
