The Baha'i Studies Listserv susan, ;"the ABM, or other scholars would be equipped to answer." thank you for that... it goes to a point i mention around here from time to time... there are all kinds of equipauge. and i offer that if they are no being driven from tabarsi and badesht to aworld bleeding to death, they are indeed, unhorsed chariots. an equipauge which i seemed to be afflicted with is a certain...hikmat deficiency?? sure...we'll call it that :-) one of the queries i made was in re tattoos, burns, scarification and piercings...which got me the expected answer of "don;t play the fool but..whatever, it;s all good. good luck with that" that seems common in answers from the House. and which in Writing..or rather printed out .pdf allowed me to...hmmm... assault and pillage various camps of "we all know" and "grandpa said" or "the lsa chair doesn't like" in the general name of clearing more space at the Table for the restless, the unshepherded, the hungry, which i seem to recall the beloved Guardian telling evvvverybody to do; since the words are in his hand, and not through a secretary advising someone or something smaller than all of the Faith." i don;t notice having any desire t change Policy..but do have a rather frm desire to see Policy, and not what people want Policy to be known and clear. in my experience,after the ashes cool, it becomes much easier to carry out.
