Dear David,

Given the poor and outrightly mistaken understandings of the proofs of God
found in Dawkins, Harris, Dennett and Hitchens, I would first determine if
your atheist correspondents actually understand the proofs given. Moreover,
did you direct them to Godel's version of the ontological proof, or
Hartshorne's or Plantinga's or to Lane Craig's work?

In my paper "Some Answered Questions - A Philosophical Perspective"
(forthcoming publication by "Lights of Irfan") I examine the Master's
proofs. I also get into these in "The New Atheism - a Philosophical
Perspective" given at ABS and scheduled for a public lecture by the
University of Northern British Columbia this Thursday.

I can send you copies if you give me you e-mail address.

Best wishes,

Ian Kluge

Some years ago I sent 'Abdu'l-Baha's proof of God's existence from SAQ to a
few atheists to see what they thought. It was not well received and they
found a lot of problems with it. I'm interested to know other people's
experience. I think 'Abdu'l-Baha's proofs in other places would be more
likely to convince. I know there are public debates on the existence of God
in America. Does 'Abdu'l-Baha offer any new arguments?

Regards,
David
