The Baha'i Studies Listserv
It seems to me that it may be impossible to know whether someone you tell of the Faith to is receptive, unless they ask to be invited to a meeting. The fact that they show interest when you tell them about the Faith does NOT necessarily indicate they are receptive. They may be polite. They may be interested in hearing about it, but not because they think it might be the truth. Maybe they're interested because they've never heard of it or it sounds interesting. Baha'is often assume that because someone acts interested they are. I suspect it is often found that many of these people aren't receptive at all. Without being a mind reader, I don't think there's any way to know for sure without them asking to come to a meeting.
