The Baha'i Studies Listserv Dr. Laleh Bakhtiar came out with "The Sublime Quran". She also doesn't translate "daraba" as beat. The last I heard she was a member of the Naqshbandi sufi order. The only other complete "Sufi" translation I've heard of is the Bewley one. If you want to know more about how Sufis read the Quran you might have better luck looking for depth instead of breadth. (books which contain commentaries on particular verses or surahs vs. "Sufi" translations of the entire Quran)
