The Baha'i Studies Listserv Don't remember which lists this has been discussed on, but one sic-fi mythos that has not been discussed, as I remember, is Galactica.
Religion is more important to the Galactica story-line than any of the other shows and also has the most complex treatment of it. Babylon 5 and DS9 have individual shows that may come close, but in both cases, God/gods are aliens, the sci-fi equivalent to "ascended masters".
