The Baha'i Studies Listserv Don C, what other series are you familiar with? Lost? It was a great series you can buy the whole DVD box set on Amazon. It's hit or miss with people with regards to if they like it. It's loaded with religious symbolism. It's complicated by the fact that there's no official interpretations. That's the best part though. Religion is more important to the Galactica story-line than any of the other shows and also has the most complex treatment of it. Babylon 5 and DS9 have individual shows that may come close, but in both cases, God/gods are aliens, the sci-fi equivalent to "ascended masters".
