Dear Don, Such things are culturally determined. In the Islamic world not being fully covered is likely to arouse a man. Yet for women to restrict themselves this way has been clearly detrimental to their development. Likewise a woman going out at night is taken as a sign she is 'asking for it.' We have the right to the night. > Who said men should not take responsibility for their responses? What > I am saying is that there is more to sex than the behavior of men. To > me, the implication of your statements is that women can act out > sexually with impunity and men can not. Not so. But I don't think we really talking about action here, are we? You were talking about what arouses men, not women going approaching guys. warmest, Susan ---------- You are subscribed to Baha'i Studies as: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Baha'i Studies is available through the following: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.jccc.net/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=bahai-st news://list.jccc.net/bahai-st http://www.escribe.com/religion/bahaist (public) http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] (public)
