In Some Answered Questions 'Abdu'l-Baha states that Abu-Sufyan was the name of one of the Umayyad rulers. I have been reading Balyuzi's Muhammad and the Course of Islam and he indicates that there was no Abu-Sufyan ruler and that there were three Mu'aviya's instead of two. Also, despite the fact that Balyuzi is a Baha'i he never seems to explain this discrepancy. Could someone please explain this? Best Regards, Matt
