As I remember, she left Denver the same winter I left Colorado, Winter of 69/70, and I'm resonably sure she spent at least the remainder of that winter in the Chicago area. She was mentioned on a list, perhaps interlang, and I tho't someone said that she was in a nursing home in St. Louis at that time.
