Yeah loads.

Most riders here would suggest getting a proper pair of protective
riding gloves with sufficient hard padding to protect your knuckles
and palms in case of a fall.

But...

Till you can find and finalise, get yourself a pair of ordinary
leather gloves. They do protect to a certain extent (atleast from
abrasions) and have tested them more than once :)

How?

Get to MG Road or Koramangala (in front of the Hutch Shop/ Foodworld
on 80' road). Look for those guys selling wallets and other leather
goods. They will have a pair or two of gloves for sale.

Try out, and choose one that is a snug fit. Tight I mean, not
loose/comfy. Will tell you later why. Then bargain and don't take
for anything more than 90 or 100 max.

Get home, pull out the soft furry liner from inside. Cut it off.
Take out all of that furry nonsense!

Wear it and ride! Will take getting used to. A couple of days. What
is tough is the switches. But once you do... you can't take 'em off.

My relatively new pair was stolen a while back (had left it in the
fairing). So it was torture for me till I got a new pair Sunday
before last. [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Glifford.
