Venkat, I didn't quite understand. Are you saying older (pre-DTSi) Pulsars do not emit this noise? My Sept. 2003 180 (pre-DTSi) does on a few occasions. Also, Gliff's explanation doesn't seem to mention anything about a catalytic converter (or how it might affect this sound). Regards, Prashanth
