Hi all,

Thanks all for the tyre suggestions. Finally got the new tyres for the
P150ES Beta. Could not wait any longer for any more market surveys, as the
bike had been off road for over 10 days. Here is what was got:-

1) MRF Zapper FS for the front wheel. There was no option other than this in
any case.

2) MRF Zapper - 'Y' 18 X 90/100 for the rear wheel. Forget 'Q', even the 'C'
that I had seen just 2-3 days prior to buying this one had vanished from the
scene! Kind of strange situation. These days MRF is changing its
nomenclature for tyres by the day it appears. No dealer could tell me what
was the actual difference between a 'Q' and 'C' and 'Y'. All said that it
was just some variation in the tread pattern, thats all. All these Zappers
are apparantly built on the same platform. Wanted to check out TVS, but that
was not available. Ceat - I don't like this brand somehow.

Was happy that I did not go in for a Moto - C. At a redlight, leaned over to
see a bike's tyre with square tread design. It was a Moto - C, with some
wear. It actually looked like the tyre of a doodhwala's Rajdoot of
yesteryears. I don't have anything against Doodhwalas or their bikes. But if
my bike is meant to look a bit different from that, who am I to spoil that?
 :)
