Hi, I feel you mean to say that you want to switch on HID when u r on High beam. In that case u want the existing switch to operate. In that case u can't use the same switch with High beam to load the DC operated HID & low beam to the normal HL buld with AC. The switch is designed in such a way that it can be fed with either AC or DC so that both low & high beams operate with the type of voltage. What I suggest you here is to feed the switch with DC supply so that low beam works on DC & connect the High beam line to HID. Forget about the charging of battery with HL voltage since that will be taken care by the separate charging circuit already available in ur bike.
