Hi, I had given my P180 (Classic '02 make) for complete service recently.
After service, the mechanic informed me that the carburator needs to be replaced as the bike was not responding normally when throttling (after raising even if the accelerator is released to its normal position, the engine would stay in an accelerated position for some time before coming back to normal idling, and if throttled too much then the engine would stop). He also said the starter needs to be changed since the self was not starting the bike and had to use the kick. Can somebody advice if the above problems do occur, particularly with the carburator and its replacement. If I have to go ahead with the same, then whether anybody can suggest some good dealers of spares near Andheri (Mumbai) area. Any suggestions could really be helpful. Thanks and regards, Anand.
