very much here most dealers at the point of sale will try to sell u something called Teflon, in reality u will most probably get just a wax coat.
Paint Protection as it sould be right called is very different from wax polish, will consists of two or three coats of polish [water based] a cleaner, a rubbing compound and finally PTFE (chemical name for Teflon) based wax for long lasting protection. Reputed brands who can give u the actual stuff - DuPont, 3M, Wuerth and Dinitrol Cheers' Ryan Mathias On Wed, Feb 17, 2010 at 4:28 PM, Navendu Singh <[email protected]> wrote: > > > On Wed, Feb 17, 2010 at 4:12 PM, Street Hawk > <[email protected]<79streethawk%40gmail.com>> > wrote: > > Thanks for input James, > > > +1 to what James said. > > > > So it means if i wanna buy new vehicle i can skip teflon coating from the > > vendor and buy a box of wax polish in order to keep my vehicle shinning > > > I'll suggest you get a paint protection coat done and then regularly > use a good wax. > I just got my Punto treated @ Dinitrol and using wax regularly. > Contact Ryan (I think he is still on this group) for any help you > need. > > Nav > -- > In the Virtual World > www.Navendu.net is BACK !!! > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ __The Bajaj Pulsar User Group__ www.bajajpulsar.org Yahoo!
