Dear Colleagues from LP3B,

According to the paper presented by PT.Indonesia Power/PT.PLN, each of the generator which would be relocated from Tanjung Priok to Pemaron consumes about 22,500 liters of Crude Oil ( Solar ? ) per hour. There would be two generators installed in Pemaron/ Lovina. So, the Consumption for two generators is equal to 1080 M3 ( equivalent to 1080 tons ) of Crude Oil per day or 7560 tons per week.

If we assume that one car consumes about 10 liters of  gasoline per day, then the 1080 M3 ( = 1,080,000 liters ) of crude oil is equivalent to the consumption of crude oil for 100,000 cars. Therefore, there would be about 100,000 old cars with crude oil energy put instantly in Lovina/Pemaron Area. These huge amount of old cars would be run 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Furthermore, the crude oil which would be transported by a big boat to Pemaron/Lovina per week is equal to 7560 M3. This amount is almost equivalent to 5 ( five ) times of the largest swimming pool in Bali. Nikko Hotel in Nusa Dua-Bali has a swimming pool with size of 1500 M3 of water.

I hope this dimension can give you an illustration of how big is the size of crude oil consumption for these two generators.

Best Regards,
