BBG Baron Soire de Success Sir,   Following the rather unfortunate affair last month of an imposter being revealed in our ranks, I felt it my duty as your aide to carry out a full investigation.   I must advise that I have found an alarming number of lapses in our security arrangements which I have taken immediate steps to fill.   As these arrangements were authorised by LtC Chev. Jean d'Emsay, I am afraid it is with him that the proverbial buck must stop.  Believing him to be an honourable man, I have given him the benefit of doubt and concluded this to have been negligence rather than a deliberate crime against our beloved France.   Due to the sensitive nature of this whole affair, I have not mentioned my findings to anybody and in order to avoid further embaressment to the regiment, I would suggest you offer him early retirement with immediate effect.  I am sure that EdT can ably step into his role as your second in command.  I would of course be honoured if you would consider myself in the role vacated by EdT.   Your aide   Captain JBD   (OOC having tried without success three times to remove Maj npc EdP, I have decided on a different avenue for promotion)
