circumstances
be promoted. However, if I am not, according to battle records, you would
be a
fine officer to be an aide to and learn from. I shall endeavour to keep you
informed
of my situation, however if as qualified of candidate that does not have the
opportunities
to be promoted, as I have at this time, presently comes along do not
hesitate to offer
