To the Gentlemen of Paris,

Sylvia and I will be hosting a New Year's Ball at le Fleur during
the last week of December. We have engaged an orchestra, and will provide
refreshments for all in attendance. All members of Government, all members
of the Fleur, Bothwells and Hunters and all King's Musketeers and Royal Foot
Guards are invited, together with their ladies. A special invitation is
extended to all members of the Royal Family.

To bring an artistic flair to the evening, I am underwriting a 500cr
prize for the attendee who writes and performs the best poem celebrating the
glories of France during the past year. I and two other anonymous gentlemen
will serve as judges for the contest, the prize to be awarded at 12:15 a.m.,
January 1, 1672.

To the past and future glories of France!

Lt. Col. le Baron Etienne du'Draconcoeur
King's Musketeers
Commissioner of Public Safety
