Thanks to my brother for pointing out a misunderstanding,
I would like to apply for the vacant position of either 3rd or
4th Foot Brigadier. I was under the assumption, like Brigade major
the Brigadier had to come from one of the regiments in that brigade.
This is of course not a requirement, as a full brigadier would not
have a regimental affiliation.
So if you could inspect my military record, and find it
acceptable, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to
command a Brigade in Battle this summer season.
