When I contacted General Inzabox I was under the mistaken impression that
your Brigadier's commission was permanent rather than under a brevet. I
believe that the General is right in saying that the command of the Second
Brigade is the only one which is open to you. Nevertheless, should the
General agree to appoint you, it should be no means be impossible to
persuade the current incumbant to stand aside in your favour.
