Your Majesty,
I was quite surprised to see Gen Comte Otto_Chabot (npc_OC) decide not to
retire. It seems he still has a few good years in him. As always you were
right in keeping him your Foreign Minister. With all the years of loyal
service, experience and network of contacts it was most wise. For he is the
better man for the position.
I must thank your Majesty for elevating me to Duc. You have given me a
great honor. As His Majesty's Minister without Portfolio I will do all I
can to further His Majesty's goals. I have also applied to join the King's
Musketeers it seemed the only proper way to serve His Majesty in a military
sense.
As to His Majesty's plan all is going ahead as planed. I have already set
into motion several events. As instructed I have been in contact with
several Loyal subjects. We should have the traitor(s) out into the open in
coming months. They/He will be dealt with most quickly.
