Your gracious invitation to the
Costme Ball the third week of Octobre was received in our Officer's mess with
greast enthusiasm. As we are junior officers newly in Paris we do not have young
laidies to escort to the event but would be delighted to attend. Subalterns ReP
and PlG of the GDMD will attend in a parade costume of a Chinese dragon. We have
asked Pas au Secours to join us if accepted into our regiment. We have extended
an invitation to our General, CdP, to attend as Saint George if he so desires.
