I have overheard a conversation last week in my club between three men
boasting about having a large amount of stuff hidden away somewhere - I
believe that attempts may have been made to sell some of the stolen goods.
These three men looked and sounded remarkably like Lively de Bate, Gilbert
de Laire and Jacques de Neuson, all captains of the Royal Foot Guards who
have obviously have got nothing better to do than stealing property which is
not theirs.
France's best regiment (as indeed any regiment) has no place for corrupt
criminals and traitors and I therefore strongly recommend that they all be
thrown out of the regiment. The fact that the are completely useless
soldiers strengthens the case for their dismissal.
