To the Honorable B. Brigadier, Chretien du Penmarch, Commander GDMD    January,1673
Dear Sir:
Communiations have been difficult during the unexpected winry blast to hit Paris. The Royal Wedding is underway, but if I have survived the skirmishes of the bachelor party in one piece, I wish to take my unit of the GDMD to the front next month for a serious workout before the Summer canpaign. I believe Major la Granouille is of a like mind and will also write to you to take his unit to the field next month. We really would like to work on the coordination of cavalry maneuvers before facing a concerted enemy force. We hope this meets with your approval and blessing.
                                                                             Sincerely,
                                                                             Rascale en Pense, Capt. GDMD

OOC: I will be leaving for Austria, the Rhine, Amsterdam, and Brussels within the week and will be away several weeks. I wish to indicate the intent to take my Troop or Squadron, as the current turn works out, to the front in March. It is my understanding that Major la Granouille wishes to do likewise.  I will write enabling orders before I leave.                                                  Greg Rick, Jr.  MD
