Br. Brigadier General Chretien du Penmarche Commander GDMD My dear General:     I write to remind you that I intend to take the 2nd squadron on maneuvers next month. Major la Granouille also intends to take the 1st squadron. I am without a commanding Captain for C troop. I do not believe that I have the authority to make that appointment myself. I have asked Capt. Malcolm de Laire of D troop to make suggestions as he has surely noted the leadership potential of C troop members in past campaigns.                                                                                     Sincerely,                                                                                       Rascale en Pense, Major GDMD   OOC: I am unsure how a repalcement for me as commander of C troop is made.
