Hi Gary,

I was flying to Quebec yesterday afternoon, that's why I couldn't answer
earlier (cf emails about this over the last few weeks).

The reason I've put this project in arbitration, aside from the missed
deadline, is that we still haven't found a good way to communicate. Even
the simple rules that we agreed on in the last two chat sessions weren't
always observed, and in general it's missing proactiveness (making sure
everything is alright without me asking for it, often several times) and
professionalism (like with the review yesterday morning - making sure I
would still have a way to review everything even if there was pending
issues).

The arbitration did let a door open - I was also trying to see how you
would answer to this: if you were aware that the current situation was
problematic, and how willing you were to actually make this work.

So far your answers do not show this - it seems to me you don't really
realize what's wrong, and the way you are trying to put the blame on me
for the last missed deadline don't reassure me about your willingness to
work on these issues. So far, I don't see any other option than stopping
to work with you and hiring another coder.

I'm willing to discuss it though, I'm in the chat right now. It's the
week-end for you though, and I'm going to have to be away from my
keyboard this afternoon (Canadian time), so we can try to arrange a
meeting - let me know when you would be available.

Xavier.
