[David] I've had a look at the first profiles we received from Monster and
it's not very convincing until now. Most of the profiles don't have skills
that match, and want a permanent position not a freelance one; they do not
include a cover letter that could help understand their interest in the
process, nor subscribe to the ml. Further more, Monster does not let me
include the mail [email protected] in the form which makes it more difficult
for candidates to follow our process. This is partly due to the job market
in India (lots of massive cv sending without looking at the specificities of
the offer) and partly to the fact that we are not traditional (remote work,
open source, etc) which might explain that we have only 13 answers.
I'll do two things next week on that topic. First, send the job desc to
people I know in India to see if networking works better, and second, update
the offer on Monster to help the candidate follow better the process (I will
underline the need for a cover letter and the process of subscribing to the
ml), and we'll see if it improves. Any idea welcome !

Thx
D
