Hi, It's been quite some time that I did not give an update for the funding process on Farsides, so here it is.
For the first round, we've secured 55k€ investment with 3 investors. We've got a fourth investor who could join with 20k€, it's probable that we'll close this soon but there is still a little bit of discussion going on. If we do, we'll be ok for the first round at 75k€ which is the initial amount we had been discussing for this round. The money will actually be available once the company is incorporated, before the end of the year I hope. We have a meeting with these investors next Monday, where we will update them on the current status. I will prepare a quick update document for them that I will share here on the mailing list beforehand. We'll take the opportunity of this meeting to discuss with the investors the fact that everything we discuss with them will be public (on the mailing list) and also check with them that we can disclose their names. And to end with, tomorrow, I have a meeting with OTC, a French company that facilitates contacts with VCs among other things. This is a first discussion regarding future funding rounds - not the first round which is already almost closed. Hope it makes sense, don't hesitate to ask if you want more details.
