I get your point regarding the need to feel credible.

Regarding the time visitors can spend on reading, it's true that on the first contact, they will have very little time. But then, once on the desktop, they can use the browser window to reach the organization website and take all the time they want to read it.

For the length, it's a question of balance I guess. Deb will integrate your text in the page and we'll see how it feels. The idea for me is that even if we shorten it on the home page, we can find other ways to communicate the rest of the text, through missions, etc... reinforcing the credibility without forcing the player to read long texts at once.
