It's an interesting idea! The only issue I see with this is the fact that HackIt is free software - if we start reserving features for the paying users, we could be accused (with reason) of doing shareware more than free software... That's why we try to find some monetization principles that are more linked to the data than the code - things like object ownership, cuts on money exchanges, etc. Have you seen good examples of those?
